A beautiful cast floor is a jewel in any home. Whether it’s a stylish villa, a homely 1930s home or a robustly renovated farmhouse. When the residents of this home in Bilthoven saw a cast floor at friends’ houses, they were sold. As in their previous home, they opted for a cast floor again. The residents are still enthusiastic: “Even though this is the second time we’ve chosen a cast floor, we’ll do it again in a heartbeat next time!”

A light, clean and fresh interior
The owners wanted to create a light, clean and fresh interior in their new home and chose a white EPI Superbase cast floor. The white floor in the kitchen combines very nicely with the wooden floor found in the adjacent work and sitting room. Said the residents, “The combination of the cast floor and the wood floors ensures that the sleek design is also warm and comfortable.”

Extra hygienic
“We are of course aware that on a white floor you can see every speck of dirt,” the residents tell us. “Fortunately, the floor is very easy to keep clean and maintaining the floor is also fine.” EPI’s cast floors are seamless, so moisture, food residue and dirt don’t stand a chance.
