The new color collection was created in close cooperation with Maison Marie, AL Architects, EQ Interieur and TREU Interior Specials. At EPI’s invitation, these parties joined us in a search for new expressive colors. In the blog we tell you how they arrived at the new colors.
Armed with a dose of inspiration, various mood boards and color fans, the design firms set to work independently in the showroom to come up with new expressive colors. These new colors were then compiled into three appropriate themes: Earth Tones, Industrial Cool and Neutrals. Below we describe the motivation for each design agency.
Maison Marie
Maison Marie is an interior design studio. They create spaces with personality, spaces with their own story.Tailor made interior concepts for both private residences and commercial spaces. Maison Marie’s style is timeless with a touch of today. A special mix of styles, with a love for special fabrics and warm colors. For EPI they have developed the colors Rose, Sage, Honey and Terra. Shades that have their origins in nature.
AL architects
AL architects BNA is an architecture and interior design firm. They focus mainly on the private housing market and their services include new construction, remodeling and interior design from concept to realization. One notable project is the conversion of a giant farmhouse into a modern living space where old elements have been preserved. The chosen River color was inspired by a nature reserve in Venezuela. The name River fits the color perfectly because of its character: calm.

EQ Interior
Treu Interior Specials is the expert in wall and floor finishes. Over the past 30 years, they have put themselves on the map with their interior design, flooring, wallcoverings, curtains and print designs. Marc Treu chose the colors Jute & Raffia. Real vibrant colors that capture the imagination and make a statement. But also colors that can be infinitely combined in interiors.
EQ Interieur is an agency for interior consulting and design. EQ engages in interior design for businesses and individuals. The agency chooses the colors Canvas, Ash and Fjord. The colors fit the agency’s ideals and identity. Bold colors with a raw edge that fit into a sleek design.
