Seamless

All of EPI’s flooring systems are completely seamless. This creates a spatial effect, especially if you want to connect rooms with open passages.

The lack of grout makes dirt less likely to adhere to the surface, making the screed easy to clean and keep clean. Hard scrubbing is a thing of the past.

Timeless

Cast floors from EPI are timeless and last up to 30 years. You may still want to change your interior over the years. Fortunately, EPI’s flooring systems provide the perfect, timeless foundation for any decor. For example, you can switch from a classic to a modern interior without having to change the flooring.

Liquid-proof

All of our flooring systems are liquid-proof. This means that they do not allow any liquid to pass through. This also makes the cast floors suitable for use in wet areas such as bathrooms and toilets. The combination of cast floor with a beautiful cast floor drain and a walk-in shower gives a nice spatial effect in the bathroom. Even in the kitchen, a cast floor can be perfectly applied.

Suitable as a finish over underfloor heating

EPI cast floors are ideally suited as a finish over underfloor heating. Because a cast floor is a few millimeters thick, and transmits heat well throughout the floor, you achieve high efficiency. This means that in winter you quickly have warm feet due to the effective combination of a cast floor with underfloor heating. At the same time, the floor provides a cooling effect in summer. Thus the cast floor works energy-efficiently and feels extra comfortable.

Noise-reducing screed

Noise reduction

Often apartment complexes have strict noise requirements for floors. You don’t want to take part in the sounds your neighbors make, nor do you want to burden them unnecessarily with your noise. A Superbase cast floor combined with the EPI Membrane reduces impact noise by up to 15dB. This falls within most VVE standards. If this is not enough, a rubber mat can be applied under the cast floor. Get advice on how to make your floor so low noise by our showroom advisor.

To be applied over existing (tile) floors

EPI cast floors are easy to apply over existing (tile) floors. Before applying the cast floor, the installers determine which treatment is needed for the best adhesion. Costly demolition work can thus be saved and the floor can be installed more quickly.
