A cast floor owes its sleek appearance in part to its fantastic adhesion to the subfloor. If a crack develops in the screed, it is often the result of a crack in the subfloor. Moving the subfloor can also cause cracks in the screed. Fortunately, EPI cast floors are slightly elastic. Thanks to that elasticity, small cracks in the subfloor do not propagate into the screed. If the crack in the subfloor becomes larger, you will see a crack or a light stripe (veins) appear in the screed. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Often it does! By properly pre-treating the subfloor, cracking can be prevented in many cases. If you have underfloor heating, make sure that you follow the heating protocol properly.
